Nutrition During Pregnancy

Nutrition is key during pregnancy. Every bite of food you consume aids in the growth of the fetus. If you don't give your body the vitamins and minerals it needs for the fetus to grow, then your body extracts what it needs from your bones and other areas. Do your baby a favor and stay away from sugar and refined foods. Fill your body with organic fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. Be sure to drink lots of filtered water to stay hydrated and to keep your skin elasticized for growth. Eating nutritiously and staying active will minimize the amount of weight to lose after pregnancy and will also assist in the amount of energy you will need during labour. Pre-natal multi vitamin, Folic acid, Vitamin C, B12, Wild fish oil and garlic capsules are some supplements I recommend during pregnancy.
